Steps to configure your SBCGlobal account with other Email service providers

It is not always possible to open your SBCGlobal Email account to check your Emails if you are in a hurry. To make it easier, you can configure your SBCGlobal Email account with other Email services and receive the former’s Email later.

Different devices have different configurations, so we have provided the details of each device. Follow these steps carefully, and you will configure your SBCGlobal Email account without any technical help.

Configure the SBCGlobal Email account with Mac Mail:

  • On your Mac device, click on the Mail app.
  • Click on the Add Account option after going to the Mail.
  • In Mac, many automatic configurations are already available. Check for the SBCGlobal. If it is available, click on it, and you do not have to follow the rest of the steps. But if it is unavailable, click on Other Mail Account for the manual set-up.
  • In this step, you need to fill in all the credentials for the SBCGlobal Email account. These credentials include name, Email address and password.
  • Now fill in the Email settings as provided here:
PasswordYou need to type your SBCGlobal Email account password in the password column.
UsernameThe Email address for your SBCGlobal Email account is your username. Fill it in the column.

  • Make sure that you do not select the Unable to verify account name message prompted on your screen.
  • If the domain is in the transfer, you can also use your IP Address for the incoming and outgoing server.
  • After this, ignore the prompts of the two servers, click on continue.
  • Now select all the apps you want to utilize with your SBCGlobal Email account, and click on Done.
  • After following each step carefully, your SBCGlobal Email account will be configured with your Mac Mail.

Configure the SBCGlobal Email account with the Outlook application:

  • Click on the Outlook application and select Tools present in the Menu bar.
  • Click on the Account settings option.
  • After this, click on New from the Email tab.
  • Click on Microsoft Exchange, IMAP, HTTP or POP3.
  • After this, click Next.
  • Click on the option Manually configure server settings or additional server types. After clicking on it, click Next.
  • Click on the Internet Email. After doing it, press Next.
  • Now, you need to enter the required information. The user can select either POP or IMAP. After doing it, click on More Settings.
  • Click on My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Ensure that Use the same settings as my incoming mail server is ticked.
  • Click on the Advanced Tab. Ensure that the IMAP and POP server settings are according to the details given here:

  • Click on OK to save all the settings.
  • After this, click on Next and Finish.

After carefully following each step, your SBCGlobal Email account will be configured with your outlook.

Configure the SBCGlobal Email account with Android Devices:

  • Click on the Email app of your android device.
  • Now, fill in your SBCGlobal Email account Email address and password.
  • After this, click on Manual Set-up.
  • Click on IMAP.
  • After clicking on IMAP, enter the details as they are mentioned here:

After filling in all these details, click on Next. After that, click on Done.

Following the above steps, you will configure your SBCGlobal Email account with your android devices.

Configure the SBCGlobal Email account with iPhone:

  • Open the settings of your iPhone.
  • Click on the Mail option.
  • Click on Account.
  • Now click on Add account option.
  • Click on other.
  • Select Add mail account
  • Provide your login credentials for your SBCGlobal Email account. These credentials include Name, Email address and the password for your SBCGlobal account.
  • After filling in all the requisite details, click on Next.
  • Click on IMAP and fill in the following details:

  • After filling in the necessary details, click on the continue, followed by Details and Trust.
  • Click on Save.
  • After this, click on the new account you have created.
  • After doing this, reach the SMTP server.
  • Fill in the necessary details of SMTP settings, and click on Done.

By following the above steps, you will configure your SBCGlobal Email account with your iPhone.
